Losing weight under supervision in 4 steps

  1. During the first contact, we make an appointment for your intake interview in my private studio.
  2. Before the intake interview, I ask you to keep a food diary for 3 days, which you email or app to me. This allows me to get a feel for your current diet and lifestyle.
  3. Your intake consists of a detailed discussion and advice, based on your food diary. I then work out a personal plan for you. For a longer programme, you will also receive a sample daily menu. You will work on your plan for several weeks.
  4. In subsequent individual consultations, we discuss your progress, challenges and results. We adjust your plan where necessary, until you reach your goal. Or until you want to continue your plan on your own.

Frequently asked questions

I schedule consultations by appointment only from 08:00 on Mondays to Saturday afternoons. For evening consultations, you can visit me on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Request your preferred day and time via WhatsApp or email, and we will schedule your appointment.

Sometimes something can prevent you going ahead with our appointment, of course. Up to 24 hours in advance, you can cancel free of charge via WhatsApp. You can read more about this in my terms and conditions.

That varies greatly from person to person. During your intake and follow-up consultations, we’ll discuss how much weight you want to lose and what kind of diet fits that. But it’s not about losing weight quickly. It’s about learning to make conscious long-term choices, so that eating healthier doesn’t feel like a diet and you can easily keep it up. That’s why I don’t give you a fixed menu, but personal nutritional advice. With real insight into your diet, sustainable success is within reach.

Because I am a member of the Dietetic Association BGN (Beroepsvereniging Gewichtsconsulenten Nederland), you are (partially) entitled to reimbursement under various supplementary health insurance schemes. Here you will find an overview of the reimbursements available per insurer.

Sometimes you’ve already made great strides in a healthier lifestyle, but still need some finishing touches or a refresher. Or maybe you want more variety in your diet. With a nutritional analysis and a grocery shopping consultation, you will learn more sensible, tasty choices (from the supermarket) that enrich your healthy diet.

No problem. I listen to your preferences and concerns. Let me know what you prefer not to eat (anymore) or what you shouldn’t eat, and I will take that into account in my consultation. Good to know: we don’t change your current diet all at once. We do it in small steps, so that you can keep it up much better.

Certainly. In addition to being a BGN weight consultant, I am also a personal trainer. I can help you make your muscles stronger and get more stamina, giving your weight loss journey an extra push.
